What to do. What to see. Where to stay.
Branson Jail
Built in 1923 , no one ever spent a night here, but it remains as one of our beloved landmarks. Have a bit of fun taking your own photo and upload it to #bransonjail, #BehindBarsinBransonCo, #DoinAStintInTheBransonSlammer, on our Facebook page, or just tag away on Instagram and Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/BransonCO/
Louden Community Library
This beloved building was built as the first school house in Branson in 1917. It then served as the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for over 70 years. In 2009, the building was purchased by a local benefactor and took on a new life as a community gathering spot, library for children and adults, mini-history museum and venue for special events. Open regularly during the summer, but call 719-946-5656 to arrange visits in the off-season.
Where to Stay
You may not know it, but Branson has an Airbnb! This lovely original 1920s home sleeps up to 6 people and comes complete with its own private garden and hot tub!
